Stand aside Evernote, Google Keep is here!

Google Keep

Online Software giant Google have released Google Keep; an online note taking utility that is accessible via your mobile or tablet set to rival Evernote.

First Look at the service shows major work-in-progress and needs more room to grow in the features department. But it does exactly what it says on the label; take notes on the go.

As with all things Google, it does come with a word of caution. Google does have a tendency to make their apps disappear off the face of the earth. So do not expect your notes to be there after 5 years.

Google products scheduled to be phased out by end of 2013.
– iGoogle
– Google Video
– Google Mini
– Google Global Enterprise Search
– Google Chatback

So do give Google Keep a try but do not rely too much on it.
