Apparently, there is a study that shows that men who can do 40 pushups might be at a lower risk of cardiovascular diseases.

The report released by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, compared the heart health of 1,104 male firefighters over 10-years and found that those who could do more than 40 push-ups during a timed test at a preliminary examination were 96 percent less likely to have developed a cardiovascular problem.
